Research

Professor Carlstedt's research is centered on the application of personal computer systems and large database information retrieval and analysis to enhance patient care. Additional interest and research areas are nutrition, emphasis on computer applications to parenteral hyperalimentation, and adverse drug reactions.

Professor Carlstedt has published several research and scholarly articles and has given numerous professional presentations. His professional experience has included community and hospital pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy assistance to general internal medicine services, and provision of pharmacokinetic consultations in adult and pediatric patients.
