Research Programs


The Department of Pharmacy Practice has research facilities located in Wishard Memorial Hospital, on the Indiana University Medical Center Campus. The Department's faculty investigators have demonstrated expertise across a broad scope of research areas. The staff conduct studies in clinical pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoepidemiology and health services research. The Department's faculty work in collaboration with scientists from Purdue University, Indiana University School of Medicine, and the Regenstrief Institute for Health Care. Information gained from these studies contributes directly to scientific knowledge on patient-focused drug therapy.
