Preceptor: Ronald Rosich, R.Ph., Manager, Business Operations, Neuroscience National Sales Division, Eli Lilly and Company Objectives: To challenge the student with an actual business problem and to find a solution to that problem To augment the student's ability to critically think, develop a project plan, make decisions, and deal with ambiguity To strengthen the student's written and verbal communication skills To provide the student with an experience in the pharmaceutical industry To provide an understanding of the role sales and marketing plays at a major pharmaceutical company Student Activities: Develop a familiarity with various sales and marketing resources in the pharmaceutical industry Complete special projects including a Journal Club, a Project Plan, a Project Report, and a Presentation Interact with LillyUSA Sales, Marketing, and Medical professionals as well as other Lilly professionals Develop an awareness of corporate organizations and responsibilities Meet with pharmacists working in various roles at Lilly
