A.      Day 1: Introductions, Store tour, Re-affirm HIPAA regulations

B.       Review all workstation duties

1.        Video if desired

C.       Review store’s latest KPI ratings

1.        “Drill down” to investigate KPI’s

Week 2

A.      Other daily routines

1.        Ordering, On-hand counts, Jobber order, SIMS Posting, Item Movement

B.       SIMS Tutorial

1.        WHSE Review-Exceptions, editing of order

2.        CII Review

3.        Expense Order

C.       Check On-Hand Counts

1.        Inventory Adj

2.        Periodic Count

D.      Returns-procedures

1.        Have student do returns

2.        Regular returns, Control Drug Returns, RDS

Week 3 

1. Operating Statements
2. Rx for Management CD Roms
3. Other Reports
   1. Profit/Loss
   2. Vendor Buy
   3. Bag Management
   4. DEA file
   5. Generic Utilization
   6. Delete After Sold
   7. Negative Adjustment
   8. Overstock
   9. Drug Location
4. Controlled Drugs
   1. Binder, Bankers Box
   2. DEA-222 and requirements
5. Ride with Rx Supervisor for one day
6. Detailing of physicians

Week 4 

1. Store Scheduling
2. Market Scheduling
3. E-mail, Rx Net, other interests
4. Human Resource issues
5. Store MGT if interested
6. Student to RXM Meeting if scheduled
