FDA and Industry Affiliated Programs

The mission of the FDA/Industry/Academia fellowship program is to provide training in one of three tracks focused on drug information, medication safety, and advertising & promotion. The program serves to maintain and enhance a link among the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), academia, and the pharmaceutical industry. Graduates will be qualified to pursue career opportunities in all three areas.

Fellowships are available in the following tracks:

Drug Information

The Drug Information Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship is a two-year program in which fellows will gain experience in drug information across academia, government, and industry. Industry sponsors for the 2024-2026 cycle include Eli Lilly and Company and Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC. This program will be recruiting 2 fellows, one for each industry sponsor.

Medication Safety

The Medication Safety Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship is a two-year program in which fellows will gain experience in medication safety across academia, government, and industry. The industry sponsor for the 2024-2026 cycle is AbbVie. This program will be recruiting 1 fellow.

Regulatory Advertising and Promotion

The Advertising and Promotion Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship is a two-year program in which fellows will gain experience in regulatory advertising and promotion across academia, government, and industry. This program is not recruiting for the 2024-2026 cycle.
