Program Details
Johnson & Johnson, Regulatory Advertising and Promotion - Titusville, NJ
During this 9-month rotation, the fellow will develop an understanding of FDA regulations and guidance, industry codes, and more, as related to prescription drug advertising and promotional activities. The fellow will work directly with internal business partners such as marketing, legal, medical, and others to ensure that a broad range of promotional initiatives are in compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Food and Drug Administration, Office of Prescription Drug Promotion - Silver Spring, MD
During this 9-month rotation, the fellow will gain experience in the FDA promotional review process and provide overviews of relevant laws and FDA guidance documents. The fellow will assist in reviewing promotional materials, evaluating draft product labeling, researching and evaluating industry complaints, and working with other functions in the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP).
Purdue University, College of Pharmacy - Indianapolis, IN
During this 6-month rotation, the fellow will gain exposure to upper level academia and the different responsibilities of academic administrators. The fellow will gain significant teaching experience through provision of didactic education including coordination of a core PharmD management and marketing course and the experiential training of pharmacy students.

Eligibility
The fellow must be a graduate from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, or otherwise eligible for licensure as a pharmacist, prior to the start of the fellowship term. All applicants must be U.S. citizens to complete the program. Candidates who do not meet this requirement should not apply.
Application Process
All interested applicants must submit the following via the online portal:
- Letter of intent. Please specify track and sponsor(s) of interest.
- Contact information for three references, including name, email, and phone number. References will be contacted to submit a letter of recommendation through the online portal.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Official transcripts. You may also send your transcripts directly to AdPromoFellowship@purdue.edu.

All application materials should be submitted electronically to the online application portal no later than November 14th, 2022
Preliminary interviews will be conducted virtually starting November 15th, 2022
Final interviews will take place virtually on November 28th-29th, 2022
Candidates may apply to more than one track and more than one sponsor, however, final interview offers will be specific to track and sponsor (meaning candidates will need to select their track and sponsors of interest if pursued for final interviews by multiple tracks or multiple sponsors).
