Dear Colleagues,
Please join me to congratulate Dr. Emily Israel. Emily was recently selected as a Purdue University Scholarship of Engagement Fellow for the 2019-2020 academic year. The purpose of this program is to foster the development of the scholarship of engagement for faculty throughout the Purdue system. Scholarship, in the context of Engagement, is founded in a reciprocal partnership with the community. It involves a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and the creation, delivery and assessment of timely, unbiased, educational materials and programs that address relevant, critical and emerging issues. Emily was selected as part of a competitive process among University faculty to participate. Congratulations Emily!
