The awarding of Fellow is one of the highest honors from the organization and recognizes both sustained contributions to the organization and the profession.  Congratulations Sharon!

Dr. Zach Weber along with his (IPE) collaborators at Indiana University were recently selected as the 2019 recipient of an Award for Institutional Excellence and Innovation

Please join me to congratulate Dr. Zach Weber.  Zach, along with his Interprofessional Education (IPE) collaborators at IU were recently selected as the 2019 recipient of the Award for Institutional Excellence and Innovation in Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Health Care from the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP).  This award recognizes the excellence of their team in the development and implementation of the statewide IPE curriculum.  Congratulations Zach! 

Saugat Adhikari has been selected as the recipient of a Lilly Endowment Gift Graduate Research Award

On behalf of Dr. Overholser and the Department of Pharmacy Practice Graduate Program, we would like to congratulate Saugat Adhikari on being selected as the recipient of a Lilly Endowment Gift Graduate Research Award for his proposal entitled: “Multi Scale PKPD models of tumor growth inhibition and biomarker response to support Temozolomide – Mdm2/Akt inhibitors (RG7388/GDC0068) combination therapy for glioblastoma multiforme”.
 

Recent Faculty Promotions - Drs. Sonak Pastakia and Gloria Sachdev

Dear Colleagues, 
 
I want to specifically congratulate Drs. Sonak Pastakia and Gloria Sachdev on their promotions.  Dr.  Pastakia and his team are doing transformational work in Western Kenya to improve the health of Kenyans and sustain clinical pharmacy programs and training in the country.  Dr. Sachdev and her team are leading policy efforts in Indiana and on a National level to allow pharmacist to practice at the top of their license.  Their promotions reflect this excellence!
