Dr. Jim Tisdale was recently selected to receive the 2017 Russell R. Miller Award from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).

Please join me to congratulate Dr. Jim Tisdale.  Jim was recently selected to receive the 2017 Russell R. Miller Award from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).  The Russell R. Miller Award is the most prestigious scholarly award that is given to an ACCP member.  It recognizes a member who has made substantial contributions to the literature of clinical pharmacy.  Jim will receive the award during the opening general session of the ACCP Annual meeting in October.   Excellent work Jim! 

Dr. Karen Hudmon selected as the Chaney Faculty Scholar Award and awarded a $250,000 grant from the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission.

Please join me to congratulate Dr. Karen Hudmon on two recent awards.  First, Karen was awarded the College’s highest research honor.  She was selected as the Chaney Faculty Scholar Award.

Second, Karen was awarded a $250,000 grant from the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission at the Indiana Department of Health to continue her work as the statewide partner to implement Indiana’s tobacco control goals.
