Please join me to congratulate Dr. Dan Degnan. Dan was recently recognized as the recipient of the 2020 Purdue University Murphy Award for Excellence in Teaching for Lecturers. This is the highest teaching award for all faculty and instructors across the University. The award recognizes sustained and high quality instruction, superior ability in communicating the chosen material to the students and stimulate their desire to master the material, and teaching responsibility that is evolving and iterative, resulting in innovative pedagogical technique.
